Site Directors
CARBC site directors are research leaders with interests in addiction based at partner universities. They provide a profile for CARBC at their institutions, are members of the CARBC program committee and advise on potential collaborators for emerging projects.

 

 


At Thompson Rivers University the Centre collaborates with the Centre for Excellence in Addictions Research led by Dr. Reid Webster, Psychology. The mission of CEAR-TRU is to build a regional network of researchers and practitioners that foster research from a harm reduction health perspective with an emphasis on building a community framework.

 

 


At the University of Northern British Columbia the Centre collaborates with Dr. Cindy Hardy, Professor, Psychology. Dr. Hardy's interests are in child and adolescent clinical psychology, and human development. Her current research projects address parenting, and delivery of health services to children, youth, and families living in rural areas.
